Hi im getting worried was literally 17 weeks 0 days yesterday and overnight my boobs stopped hurting ans still havent felt baby move. Im.on holiday till friday in greece and for first time in the holiday started to get anxious something is wrong. Ive had a missed miscarriage in past and two other early miscarriages so this is my first pregnancy. Already had a scare following blood screening came in high risk and had to have an additional test for edwards syndrom but all okay. I dont know if im kist anxious or whetherloss of symptoms is normal. Can anyone give me any advice ? X

Hi difficult

Neither symptom is a worry in itself. I'm 33 weeks and have never had sore boobs. Lots of symptoms come and go, it isn't anything to gauge a pregnancy by. 17 weeks is also very early to feel baby move.

I know it's easier said than done but the best thing you can do is try to relax. You could phone triage when you get home if you are still concerned but unfortunately you are int hat bit of pregnancy where first trimester symptoms have often disappeared and you aren't on the next lot yet.

There really isn't anything you can do. You are past the highest risk period, the overwhelming chances are everything is fine. I know that won't be of much comfort though.

I think it’s vwry normal not to feel baby move at 17 weeks. Was over 20 weeks each time with me.
Do you think you’d feel better getting checked out? Are you anywhere near a hospital for example? The only “suspicious symptom” you actually have is that your boobs are no longer sore. That may just be the stage youre at now, may be the heat, could be all sorts of things. My morning sickness cleared up completely on holiday and reappeared after! Obviously as you are on your fourth attempt you will have all sorts of worries. That doesn’t mean it has gone wrong though. Why not look into the nearest medical facility if it would provide reassurance. Flowers

Thanks ladies xx yes this is the only thing im worried about i have a pregnancy belly and have still waves of nausea at times. Im probably just panicking for no reason its just that i have read some women felt baby move by now and also with my missed miscarriage the sign i had was that my boobs stopped hurting so associate that symptom with that awful experience now sadly. I may be just worrying for nothing but its good to hear from other women who have gone through pregnancy. I dont really know what normal is due to my history xxx

As others have said just try not to worry (impossible of course!)
Usually baby can be felt somewhere in the early twenty weeks and even then it's slight. Other symptoms chop and change all the time too, it can be a rollercoaster of worry that symptoms have gone and then wishing for a break from them Grin
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy

I’ve had several miscarriages so I fully understand your anxiety - I worried throughout all of my successful pg, but it didn’t do me any good so would be much nicer to let go and try to have faith in this lo and this pg!

I had extremely sore boobs for the entire first trimester and that was pretty much the only symptom I had. They probably stopped being sore around week 14 and I had a scheduled scan at 16 weeks which showed the baby as being absolutely fine so for me it was nothing untoward.

I’m almost 19 weeks with my first and am not sure whether I’ve felt the baby move yet either and from what I’ve read this seems completely normal.

I don’t think I’ll ever not be a little bit worried that something is strange or wrong until she comes out but again I think that’s also normal! Then when they come out I’m sure there is a heap load of new worries.

Don't worry, my boobs stopped hurting around this stage too.

Thanks a lot everyone for taking the time to post. I feel a lot better after hearing from you all..i have my next scan on 8th august but have an appointment with my midwife on 30th july. We came on holiday as a last min booking after stress of the edward syndrome i got a 1 in 40 chance of it and then with a follow up iona blood test and waiting for results for a week went to 1 in a million..so relieved. Everyone keeps saying to me 'enjoy the pregnancy' but struggling to keep all my anxieties at bay after everything. I will try ro relax for rest of the holiday now and think positive xxx

My boobs stopped hurting early on and no movement felt until after 20wks, like bubbles popping
All the best OP

I’m sorry you’ve been through all of that - I also had high risk results and more testing and it’s bloody hard going! Have you tried yoga or meditation (if that’s your thing) to try and clear your mind and relax?

Hopefully your midwife will be able to listen to baby and put your mind at ease till the next scan Flowers

I feel for you. I remember my boobs suddenly stop hurting, i think around the same time or maybe even earlier. I also panicked. It doesn't mean anything! I think you'd be unlucky to have sore boobs the entire time. They may start hurting again in a few months (im 22w and they're still fine) but I would think they're gonna have a growth spurt closer to the time.

Enjoy your holiay :) second trimester is meant to be minimal symptoms and more enjoyable xx

Hey OP, I'm 15+3 and had my 15 week midwife appointment this week and heard a healthy heartbeat. My boobs stopped hurting and being sensitive at around 9 weeks. I wouldn't look too much into sensitive boobs as being a major pregnancy symptom.

Difficulttimes17 · 18/07/2018 16:12

That helps to know whats happened to you all. Yes i have looked into yoga
Before the holiday @blondemother and found somewhere local so going to start when we get back. Yes looking forward to the scan i have thought of doing one privately as well but really have only 2 weeks to wait so feels a little OTT given i dont have any bad symptoms to concern me. I cant wait for the baby to get here we have longed for a baby fpr so long. Xx
