When will I deflate?

I’m 10 weeks today and so so bloated.

My weight keeps fluctuating like crazy so I have no idea how much I weigh now.

I’m going to a wedding in 2 weeks and won’t be announcing my pregnancy until 13 weeks. Worried people will comment on my weight gain :(

Can I or will I be able to deflate in the next two weeks? Or will I remain horrendously bloated forever?

I stopped bloating around 10-12 weeks so you might be okay. However, why not dress carefully at the wedding - there are so many dresses you could wear that wouldn't show off any bloating at all. Even if it's not your usual style it might do the trick. I started wearing a completely different style at work and some people didn't realise I was pregnant until around 28 weeks!

My bloat just got replaced by bump, with no real gap in between. I'm 15 weeks now, and the same size as I was at 7 weeks, only now it's more bump than bloat. Sorry! I would try and find some more flattering styles to hide the bump, maybe a swing dress.

I doubt people would comment on your weight gain though, or if they do give them an evil stare. Even if they think you have put on a few pounds privately, the reason will be clear when you announce a few weeks later.

Yep I went straight from bloat to bump with my second. Went to a wedding at 11 weeks and just had to admit I was pregnant as it was so obvious despite wearing floaty clothes. One friend said they we're relieved I'd told them as they suspected but were scared to ask. It's not the end of the world if you have to tell early just make it clear you've not had the scan yet.
