I would love your opinion on whether the baby is a boy or a girl. I’m thinking girl but I’m not sure. Got to 16 weeks after a twin miscarriage last year and didn’t think I wanted to know what I’m having but erm... it would appear I do!

Thanks so much in advance! I did try and sign up for ingender but it’s convinced I’m a robot ConfusedGrin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

That’s a boy! Congratulations!

HoneyMonster12 · 17/07/2018 20:23

I’d say girl actually!

mittensofsteel · 17/07/2018 20:25

Ha ha Grin

At least we have it down to two possibilities!

I think boy

HoneyMonster12 · 17/07/2018 20:28

The nub isn’t pointing upwards it’s in line with the spine, also it’s got a slight ‘fork’ on the end which also points to a female usually! When do you find out?

morpurgo · 17/07/2018 20:30

What's the exact gestation? I'd say nub looks girly though! Congratulations

mittensofsteel · 17/07/2018 20:32

Thanks everyone!

I had the Harmony test a few weeks ago - the results were really fortunate and I didn’t grasp until a week or two later that they had forgotten to tell us the gender! Have now requested it from the clinic so a week at most I think.

@HoneyMonster12 and@morpurgo - I think they said I was 12 + 2 but it was in a flurry of lots of scans and none of the dates suggested were ever the same so I think I was roughly between 11 + 5 and 12 + 3.

And thank you for the congratulations, really appreciated Smile. I still haven’t told anyone in real life apart from a couple of friends - I’m 16 weeks now!

Normally they can’t give an accurate gender until 16-20 weeks

SamanthaH92 · 17/07/2018 21:01

How many weeks were you at the scan? I will say girly nub if before 13 weeks. Congratulations x

morpurgo · 17/07/2018 21:10

If it was 11 weeks or so the nub still has time to rise... but I'm still saying girl! And congratulations again!

Smile

Thanks so much, I’ve been a ball of nerves for the entire pregnancy - absolutely lovely to see so many congratulations.

I’ll let everyone know what it is as soon as I find out!
