Symptom tsunami!

After weeks of feeling great I’ve been hit by loads of symptoms all at once!

I’m 33+2 and have started getting headaches, heartburn and low level nausea. I’ve also had a dull period pain feeling in the right side of my back.

Baby is moving lots and been very forceful. The gentle rolling and soft kicks have changed to big dives and karate chops.

All of these started in the last 4 days! My next midwife appt isn’t for another 2 weeks.

Is this just my late welcome into the third trimester or should I be getting checked? I’m a first timer so I have no idea what is ‘normal’ and don’t want to cause a fuss over nothing.

Sounds pretty normal but if you're worried it won't hurt to get checked before your next appointment.

Headaches - make sure you aren't dehydrated.

Heartburn, nausea, hard kicks, hard hits, dives - all apparently normal as the baby gets bigger and your stomach has less room. I've been having that from just over 30 weeks. Incidentally my GP asked if I was getting them when I saw her and they started happening about 2 days after. Sad

Oh and are you getting more times when a random limb sticks out yet, where the baby refuses to move it?

Thanks both! I think they’ve just all appeared at once and it freaked me out for a moment. DH is wonderful but a complete worrier about anything pregnancy related so he’s no good as a sounding board.

@Blue the baby seems to enjoy repeatedly hitting my right rib! A swift kick to the cervix seems to be fun in the afternoon too! 😂

I’m going through something very similar and 34 weeks. Felt great last week, but now have a bad back, can’t walk up stairs too fast without feeling faint and can’t eat too much in one sitting thanks to baby burrowing into my stomach!

Saw the midwife today and she seemed to think it was all normal. I’m just hoping it calms down a bit as I’ve still got loads I want to get done before baby arrives and I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid at my brother’s wedding in 2 weeks time! Confused

Oh dear @Bethacus I don’t envy you bridesmaid duties!
I had plans of batch cooking and deep cleaning during my maternity leave so I hope it passes or I get used to it by then.
