Maternity leave

I'm on the countdown to starting maternity leave (10 working days). I have a lot of baby prep to do - we have bought nothing and although I attended ante-natal classes, I haven't really read much about breastfeeding and other relevant stuff so will need to do some of that. But I'm wondering what everyone else did during their maternity leave?

I'm planning on doing some batch cooking and hopefully meeting up with some friends but is there anything you recommend that I do (fun things rather than cleaning)?

I'm planning on spending time at my local Lido if this weather keeps up.

Go to the cinema while you still can.

@haveto I will but might need to check it's air conditioned first!

Just sit and watch tv and have afternoon naps and enjoy warm cups of tea

Plan your night feed viewing.

Pack you bags and make sure they are good to pick up and go.

Have lots of lovely pamper evenings!

Buy lots of easy meals/foods for when bubs arrives.

Enjoy the time, I felt at my best when I went on mat leave, really relaxed and ready for baby xx
