So today after many failed attempts at trying to find a private rental property I went back to the council (third time lucky) and they’ve housed me in temporary accommodation.
It’s a 2 bed terraced, which I’m really grateful for, however it’s 140 miles a day back and forth to my 6 year olds school.. and so small I don’t even think I’ll be able to put any of baby stuff in there!
I’m currently 32+3 .. and have tried to google how long I’ll be in there for before I’m properly housed... but only getting really old threads come up!
I’m feeling bitter sweet about it as I am so so grateful they’ve given me somewhere today but it’s so far away from my family and the hospital.. I’m dreading going into labour and being miles from everyone.
Does anyone have any useful information please :) * anxious mum and feeling stressed *
