Have you been tested for preeclampsia? It can come on very suddenly (talking from previous experience). Looks painful and very swollen. Please get checked out. I know feet do swell a lot towards end of pregnancy but that does look extreme xx

Yes been checked for preclampsia and i defiently don't have it. Its the raised line on my foot i don't know what it is.

Could it be a scar that's now more pronounced now that your feet are swollen?

SamanthaH92 · 16/07/2018 19:42

I never thought of that. Possibly x

Could it be a varicose vein?

Almostthere15 · 17/07/2018 10:25

That does look quite extreme, when were you tested for preclampsia, I would give triage/your midwife a call this morning and if it's possible keep them up in the meantime

SamanthaH92 · 17/07/2018 11:12

That is my least swollen foot lol. The other is almost double in size. They test my blood pressure and urine twice weekly for preclampsia. Always day bp is fine and no protein or anything in urine. They blame the heat xx

You need more tests doing. Your feet are really swollen!!
I'd call gp straight away.

Good luck OP.

SamanthaH92 · 17/07/2018 12:02

I have been to gp about them and because my blood pressure is fine and no protein in urine they are not concerned x

Water retention?

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 17/07/2018 13:40

That's just an old scar that has been pushed out by the swelling. It was probably barely visible before.

The terrible swelling of your feet is what would concern me.

GPs aren't great at spotting pre-eclampsia, call the MAU.

Wellthisunexpected · 17/07/2018 14:33

How far along are you?

SamanthaH92 · 17/07/2018 19:55

No I've spoken to serveral midwifes and pau nobody is concerened about swelling. I am 39 weeks today x
