WHY DOES SLEEPING HAVE TO BE SO HARD WHEN YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!

Needing a wee every hour, too hot to sleep, leg cramps overnight, slight back ache, having to sleep On your side, nausea if I try to have a lie in, having internal abdominal organs kicked by a tiny human, headaches, hip ache, acid reflux. Grr. Literally shattered 24/7 but spending like 12 hours a day TRYING to sleep.

Anyone else fed up with this? Any other ailments I've forgotten to add to the long list?!

Oh I feel you're pain! Sad

It's ten times worse than when I had a newborn! I am lucky if I've had up to 2-hours in a row for over a month now. This morning I bounced out of bed full of beans because I'd actually slept from 1am until 5am - what a treat! Grin

I'm not actually that uncomfortable yet (other than the fact that I have a broken arm in a plaster cast!) but I remember what a godsend my pregnancy pillow was last time. I think it's time to invest in one again - just in case - even though I'm only 22 weeks!

Fingers crossed for us both tonight!

I hear you. Hot, achy hips, itchy, acid reflux sometimes, weeing in the night... Then waking up early too uncomfortable to go back to sleep. Oh and cuddling up to dp ruined by arm squashing belly situation or having to lie some distance apart.

I’m laying hear now feeling miserable because of all these reasons. Got three hours of broken sleep last night! Grim!

Restless legs. The devils work.

I hear you OP
32 weeks here and have sinusitis on my left side so it kills my face to lie on my side, but that's the way I have to sleep Hmm bloody kills!

Theweasleytwins · 16/07/2018 19:48

Wake up several times a night in a puddle of sweat🙄

Can't sleep on either side for too long without the leg on the bottom goes to sleep

Almost pulled a leg muscle several times at night by stretching😓

For all these reasons... Bring on the babies and the end of pregnancy Grin much sympathy ladies, good luck for tonight!!

I’m so glad it’s not just me! I’m 26 weeks and this is my second pregnancy. I feel huge, can’t get comfortable, back and legs are killing, baby NEVER stops moving (which is a wonderful feeling but does keep me awake) and am just generally feeling a little miserable. Also been told baby is big so have a consultant appointment tomorrow to discuss options. Wish me luck!
