Changing jobs when pregnant?

Long story short...am miserable in my job. I feel undervalued, not well treated and going nowhere fast. I've been "headhunted" and offered an interview elsewhere. I'm 9+1... am I mad?!
A relative works in HR and says I wouldn't technically have to tell new employer (if I got the job) but morally, I should at offer stage.
Part of me thinks I should just buckle down - but they only have statutory maternity at current place so don't feel I'd be losing out on much. I'd be able to get an allowance still even by changing jobs.
Also just can't help thinking I'm so early still, if anything were to go wrong at least I might be in a better job?
Sucks being a woman sometimes hey...

I started my job when I was pregnant. The recruitment took a long time so by the time it came through, I was pregnant. It’s the job I want to do long term so I took it and told my employer once the contract was signed. They’ve been fine about it.

I would move as well. Hopefully the new employer will be fine when you decide to tell them after contract is signed / you have started.

I don't think they should hold it against you as you are in the early stages

I started my job while pregnant and had received advice similar to what pps are saying. In my case it was a terrible idea and I deeply regret it. In the second trimester I developed unexpected health issues and had to be signed off for a week at a time several times (previously had only been sick for 3 days in my entire career). It really affected both my performance (due to constant headaches, brain fog, exhaustion etc.) and my boss' perception of my work. Long story short, I now have 5 months to look for a new job during mat leave. Obviously you might cruise through pregnancy, but given the choice I would recommend waiting until after mat leave to change jobs.

I'm on maternity leave and went for a job in may which I was offered, they knew that I wouldn't be back to work until November after my maternity leave has finished and they weren't bothered. They said they'd rather wait for the right candidate than to quickly fill a space with just anyone, which I thought was nice! Be upfront with them, you might be surprised x

Congratulations btw xxThanks

Have you looked at maternity pay. For SMP you have to have been continuously employed from roughly when you conceived until 15 weeks before your due date.

just be honest i would tell them i you accept they could be planning trying and thinks like that.
