Me and my partner want to set up a savings account for our baby when he is born, and didn't know if anyone had advice on what sort of account would be best...like a junior isa or normal savings account? Thank you😊xx

We have a Halifax regular saver, you can put up to £100 a month and the interest rate is about 4 or 5%.

We have a normal savings account for DS, set up as soon as he was registered. I'm co-named on the account so can take the money in and out as required. We are with natwest, I thought one I could access and keep an eye on was better than a marginal difference in interest.
