WTF why is my morning sickness worse on weekends and Mondays?

Just that really. Is this normal? It usually eases off as the week progresses and gets bad again on the weekends.

Feel guilty as calling in sick again :(

Mine is unpredictable and some days I’m having awful vomiting that leaves me bed bound. I’m having to call in sick too. Mines a new job as well. :(

Maybe you go to bed later at the weekend, have more unhealthy treats? Could be something in your routine which you haven't noticed that affects it. Mine seemed to hit on a Friday, I felt like I was going to be accused of making it up to get a long weekend!

I hope your work are supportive, that makes all the difference.

How many weeks are you now?

I’m almost 10 weeks so I’m hoping it’s going to stop soon

That could be it. I don’t recall anything being too different on the weekends other than me being more relaxed maybe

I’m nearly 14 weeks but I’m having twins and have had HG before so mine is more severe than normal, most people’s goes away at 12 weeks.

Mine is pretty constant at the moment. A couple of times a slice of toast before bedtime has meant less nausea in the morning and I've just bought a massive bag of nuts to nibble on the see if that helps! Staying absolutely still helps a little too (not much use when I've got a very active three year old!) 🤢

Mine follows a similar pattern. Mon-Thurs was quite severe, Fri-Sun I can cope a lot better. I assume hormonal, but, I suppose for me I'm a sahm with a 3 year old and DP is around at the weekends which takes the pressure off me a bit.

im the same!!

I’m 22 weeks and had a lot off morning sickness, took loads off time off work, Work thankfully have been great however I still feel guilt when I call in, but my partner thinks I’m going mad when I’m always sick on the weekends, I sometimes just can’t get out off bed and when Monday comes I feel I always have to phone in. There’s nothing I do different, I’m an early riser aswell so not like am getting too much sleep?

Ugh pregnancy 🙄 I don’t get it lol but glad I’m not the only one!
