Can't sleep again because of bloody restless leg.
Does anyone have any ideas to stop it so I can get some sleep?
I have not been able sleep before 5am for the last 2 weeks and it's taking its toll!
(39 weeks)
Tried eating bananas and butterbeans which worked when I had it in 1st trimester but it's not helping anymore.

You poor thing. I totally empathise. I had RLS for most of my pregnancy. Not much helped me I’m afraid. Hot baths before bed eased it a bit. Other than that I was just driven a bit mad by it. Not that helpful, but.... my baby is 8 weeks old and for me it disappeared after birth. I’d actually forgotten about it until I saw your post! Fingers crossed baby arrivesfor you soon Flowers

Try magnesium spray. I have a bit of a routine of: shower, magnesium spray, bounce on ball and small dog walk right before bed, then pillow between my knees and ankles- weirdly I find if my legs or feet touch each other it makes it worse! - and counting down when trying to sleep to try take my mind off of it.
It does seem to work most nights so worth a try. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow so hoping I won't have long left of it!

I second magnesium spray. I don't use it religiously but have noticed a slight difference all the same. Calf and foot massages too perhaps

Magnesium spray and stretching. It sort of works but it's not as effective as it was earlier on in pregnancy. You can buy the magnesium spray at Holland & Barrett.
