Varicose Veins IN ME LADY BITS

So I’m pretty shocked that this is what has been causing so much pressure and pain in my lady bits this past week 😪😪 I’m actually mortified. I knew you could get varicose veins on your legs, but not in your special lady garden 😐😐

So this is my 2nd pregnancy in 18 months, never had the like with my first pregnancy...Not even the pressure in my lower stomach. Do you think this baby could just be lying totally differently, like totally tucked in and low down? I’m much smaller this time around and it’s the same gender as the first baby.

I guess I’m just looking for someone who has experienced this? Can I help reduce them getting any bigger as I’m only 27 weeks along!

And someone please hold my hand and tell me my lady parts will return to normal after a vaginal delivery?? 😔

It happened to me in my last two pregnancies, I mortified when I first spotted it, I was terrified it wouldn’t go but it did after each pregnancy. Xx

I had these in my 3rd pregnancy (17 months between DC2 and DC3). Dr said when you have babies very close together everything has already been stretched and it's difficult for the muscles to fully recover their strength so more pressure is put on the pelvic floor.

Please don't be embarrassed, the midwives have seen it all before. In labour the midwife said if they started to swell while I pushed she would hold them down with a sanitary towel to ensure they didn't pop Blush. Thankfully she didn't need to!

The only advice I could give you is to not be on your feet for too long (not easy with a toddler I know) and maybe the odd ice pack Grin

They were gone completely by about 2 days after labour. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the ones on my legs Wink.

I'm not alone! I'm 26 and I noticed this yesterday...along with some nice hemorrhoids too!

26 weeks that should say - 1st pregnancy too!
