bloody in laws brought a motor lawn mower and without me knowing poured the oil? petrol? in..well whatever it was and I walked in the garage and suddenly almost fainted from the strong vapour fumes...have had massive headache all day...

now why they didn't fill up outside on the road in the open air (rather than in our garage with all door shut) I don't know...but they did it in the garage and now it stinks...

plus I got exposed to what I think will be very toxic fumes which been trying to diligantly avoid throughout the whole pregnancy...

should i worry or am i really being hyper paranoid?

i mean preg women should avoid filling up at petrol stations (I am sure that is the currrent recomendation) and here in my own garage was this even more stronger powerful smell...

argh!!!!!!!

worried have melted LO brain!! and mine too!!

I really wouldn't worry!! The world is FULL or toxic shit! e.g. pesticides are found in the air in a 50 mile radius of where they're sprayed, radio waves and mobile phone radiation is everywhere at all times, electro-magnetic radiation is all around all electrical equipment especially computers and tvs, etc etc I hope that makes you feel better?!!!
Really don't worry little kidder will be FINE!!! XXXXXX

why should pg women avoid filling up at petrol stations?

I've never heard that one and many pg women have a craving for the smell of petrol

EllieK

Not so much as avoided it for toxic reason more that the smell of it just makes me ill.

But then anything that has a strong smell makes me ill, am 26 weeks and have the nose of a bloodhound.

As manuka has said that the air is full of toxic fumes etc.
