Nose bleed?

Hi

I'm currently 5+2 pregnant and I've not had a lot of symptoms compared to my pregnancy with DD. No sore boobs etc.

But today I've had a lot of ingestion (woke up with heartburn last night and burping all today) and now my nose has started to bleed.

I can't even remember ever having a nose bleed!

Has anyone else had a nose bleed in early pregnancy? Is this normal?

I'm not booked in to see the midwife until the 10th Aug (earliest appointment 🙄) but I do have a private scan booked for next Saturday.

A nosebleed has been my first symptom in all 3 of my pregnancies. It's something to do with the rise in progesterone. Burping was also one of my early symptoms!

I would say normal and nothing to worry about but no harm in mentioning to the midwife at the appointment.

I used to get lots of nose bleeds a bit later on in pregnancy

I got loads of nosebleeds in first trimester. Normally middle of the night. Very annoying!

Thanks for the reassurance ☺️ It really freaked me out as I never had anything like this during my first pregnancy.
