Non identical twins

We had our scan yesterday and are expecting twins the lady put them days apart they both have their own sac and placenta but how can they be days apart from each other... Confused

If you had sex a few days apart, the two separate eggs would have been fertilised a few days apart.

It could also be they’re growing at slightly different rates?

Congratulations on your twins, mine are 5 months now, and they’re absolutely awesome! Ignore all the doomsday you’ll never sleep again, you’re going to die from exhaustion that people will gleefully tell you, it’s nowhere near as bad 😉

That's what happened apparently and it's a rare at 1st she said a week apart now it's only 3-4 days

No she said they are both growing as they should twin 2 is a few days older than twin 1 never heard it before tho both are gonna be born together
