Hello mommies I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and I've been suffering with awful skin! My thighs are covered in stretch marks and veins and then I've now noticed a cluster of red spots which is pupps I've got it on my bum and thighs and some at the very top of my bikini line :( anyone else suffered with these issues? And did they go with delivery ? Xx

I got mine post natally all over my belly. VERY itchy and annoying. Lots of rich moisturiser helped me. Ask midwife or doctor to check it over for you they might be able to suggest something for you x

Same. It’s a bitch isn’t it?
I just came from the doctors. I got hydrocortisone and tomorrow I’m buying some calamine lotion.

Are you having a boy? It’s slightly more common in those carrying boys.

I looked in Tesco this afternoon but no joy. I’ll have to go to Boots tomorrow. I think it’s a chemist job.

If you go onto boots. com and search for calamine lotion you can check the stock in your local store. X

I had it from about 38 weeks too bloody horrific!! Camomile lotion did sweet f all for me in the end I ordered a bar of coal tar soap from Amazon which smelt funny but definitely helped! The good news is that within a week of my birth it had cleared up!

I feel your pain ladies it drove me up the walls. I had to be induced on the hottest ward in the world which aggravated it even further. Midwifes only took my request for a fan seriously when I ripped the monitoring equipment off me and told them I was leaving Blush try stay as cool as you can!

Pirandello24 · 13/07/2018 20:46

Oh god this is the worst thing ever. I had it so badly. What saved me was cool showers using coal tar soap, and then applying calamine cream (not the lotion as it's quite drying)- Boots does an amazing one

I had this every where except hands and face. Didn't need to wait for delivery. They arrived at 33/34 weeks and went by 38 weeks. It was pure misery. I did the following: keep as cool as you possibly can, cold water flannel, whatever is needed. Aveeno oatmeal lotion and aveeno oatmeal baths.
