Is it a boy or girl? 36 weeks

Hi all, 36 weeks pregnant and we don't know what we're having. Already have a DD, and this pregnancy has been slightly different so I'm thinking it's a boy.
Things like my heartburn stopped a couple of weeks ago, whereas it was terrible with DD; movements are different this time round (but midwife thinks breech); had no restless leg syndrome and I had that absolutely terrible with DD. Also not really had any cravings I can think of this time round (not even ice cream in this heat which I loved with DD). All late pregnancy things I've noticed as both were pretty much the same to begin with.

Anyone got any tales of their similar or totally different pregnancies and whether you had boys/girls or a combination of both, to get me through these long last days?

2 completely different pregnancies, completely different symptoms... 2 girls.
Now pregnant with my third and having completely different symptoms again!

Soydora that's interesting to hear, I feel so convinced it's a boy because of the differences I haven't even really thought of a girls name I like!
Good luck with your third pregnancy Smile

Id prefer a goat Grin

My symptoms were same for both boy and girl but I carried very differently. Boy was all bump. Girl made me bigger everywhere!

Awww baby goat! Good idea!

I’ve had identical symptoms, cravings, aversions. Baby is in exactly the same position, so is placenta (anterior). I was totally convinced it was another girl but apparently it’s a boy! I still can’t believe it until he’s here. My dh thinks I’ve put on less weight all around and it’s more bump this time though so there might be something in that.

Had a boy and about to have my girl, only noticeable difference is the shape of my bump.

My boy was very low and I was big everywhere.
This time my bump is all front! When I lie down I can see her bum and feet at the top. And although I've gained 3-4 stone Blush my bump is still round and neat X

I did have a bit of morning sickness this time round but not major enough to ever make me physically sick x

SoyDora · 13/07/2018 15:42

I had a small, neat bump with my first DD, no weight on elsewhere. I looked like a balloon with my second DD! I put on exactly the same amount of weight on with both, just in different places.

Friend had three pregnancies. Two identical and one totally different. She has 3 boys.

MummaBear24 · 13/07/2018 18:29

My first pregnancy I had no sickness, nothing. Had ice cream cravings and had sciatica and got preeclampsia at the end and had to be induced. Had my beautiful boy.

Thai pregnancy complete opposite. Sickness, fatigue, headaches, backaches. sciaitica again, no cravings. Due second boy in October. You can never tell.

You can have complete opposite pregnancies and have same sex or very similar and have different sex. Good Luck!

Three pregnancies all the same symptoms and carried the same ( all out front ) cravings were different steak with the DS and Grapefruit with DD and no cravings with third (DS2)

I really don't think old wives tales have much credibility tbh.
