Nearly 7 months in. All has been well except recent blood test showed wife has iron deficiency. After taking supplements, she says baby pushes upwards really hard just after she takes the iron supplements.

Her stomach was become really stiff after the first tablet and so she stopped taking it on day 2.
On day 3 she took the tablet again and again the baby started pushing really hard with his leg.

Anyone experienced this?

This is our first successful pregnancy after 3 consecutive miscarriages, all during first trimester. Wife has been on aspirin and daily injections during this pregnancy and asides a little spotting at week 10, and really strong leg cramps month 5 onwards, wife and baby have been really well. But now this, just a little worried given our history, wouldn't want anything to go wrong now.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

What’s she taking it with? Orange juice?

Sugary drinks can make them move quite a lot...

Is she taking them on an empty stomach or with food? They can give indegestion or stomach cramps if taken on an empty stomach, which might explain the hard stomach. It also might make it a bit more sensitive to baby wriggling around. As PP have said, sweet drinks usually make baby more active as well. Fizzy drinks set my two off.
