Connecta sling?

Has anybody had a Connecta? I'm looking for something I can use from birth that is easy peasy to click on. I had close Caboo last time and never felt like the baby was supported so not as keen on the stretchy ones. I loved the Ergo but can't be arsed with the infant insert for the first six months. Hoping the Connecta is the answer! Tia

They are great and can be used from 7lbs I think. You'll need the accessory strap to cinch in the bottom to make it small enough though.

Best thing really would be a sling library, but not everyone likes them.

Ergo do the omni 360 now, which can be used from birth. Personally I hated the connecta (now known as integra by the way) as there’s no padding on the straps and I found they dug in.

I had a connecta from about six weeks (still have somewhere). Was brilliantly comfy and very easy to do up one-handedly. Can't remember if it's suitable from birth if baby is over the minimum weight though.

Like you I had the caboo and Connecta. Loved both but for different ages so used caboo for about first few months then moved to the Connecta.
The trick with the caboo is to make it tight-ish before you put baby in. Put it on, pull it swimsuit tight, slide in baby, tighten more. If you start off loose it won't tighten it will just stretch.

I didn't use mine from birth, probably nearer 3 months as I had a moby before but our connecta (or integra as they are now) along with the sleepyhead was our best baby purchases. Folds up teeny so I could have in change bag, easy to get on and off, fits dp and he's comfortable wearing it, baby was snug and supported (including hips/legs which a lot don't) and both front and back carry were simple.
If you are going to use it from birth then I'd recommend a second accessory strap just in case so you don't get stuck without it.

I can't get on with my Connecta at all. Too me, it feels as if there are too many adjustable bits to worry about, and that the flap to support the baby's head is really hard to get right. When my little boy was tiny I assumed it was just finding it tricky because he was so small and floppy. However, I last tried him in it about a month ago, when he was about 18 weeks (approx 12 lb, with decent head sturdiness) and both he and I still hated it.

I'll be interested in what others have to say. I'm considering investing in something different but will do more research before taking the plunge this time.

@Rufffles best thing to do would be visit a sling library so you can try before you buy.
