I have read plenty about these but still don't quite get it!?

How do you know if you get them if they are painless? Is it really obvious?

I'm 32 weeks, maybe I haven't experienced them I don't know?

My braxton hicks are very obvious, bump goes tight and hard, even sort of lopsided sometimes, i get them lots and lots amd have done since around 26 weeks. Im now 39 weeks. At the worst i was getting about 10 an hour. More recently (past month) i find that it feels like its harder to breath when i have a braxton hicks, and v uncomfortable xx i dont know if they are the same for everyone lovely. I find them a right pain in the bum :)

I am 27 weeks and I've been having them for about 5-6 weeks. I mostly notice them if they come on when I am walking. Makes it really hard and I have to go very slow. It just feels like your stomach muscles are incredibly tight. As pp said they aren't the same for everyone and not sure if everyone even gets them.

I started with braxton hicks at 36 weeks, belly turns really tight and hard and mine used to go all sorts of funny shapes. I would describe mine as painless but I definitely knew I was experiencing it. Sometimes a little uncomfortable. But in my experience you can absolutely not confuse braxton hicks and real contractions haha.

I had lots of them, some painless and some with some pain but nothing to be worried about. Your belly goes really tight, like a belt been tightened. I knew I was having them.

Hmm maybe I just haven't had any yet then. I had a night of cramping like a period at the weekend and that freaked me out but nothing since so don't know what that was either? It's all a guessing game I suppose haha!
