First scan

Hi everyone can someone tell me how long a wait it is from your midwife making your first scan appointment to the actual appointment is it days or weeks as am 11 weeks the now and have the midwife on Monday but no appointment for first scan yet? I am dying to see the baby and wanted it for the 12th week?

If you are 11 weeks now then the chances are your midwife will probably get you an appointment sooner rather than later so somewhere in the next 1-2 I imagine x

Guess it depends on your area. Where I am you have your booking appointment around 10weeks then they give you the number to call the scan department at the hospital of your choice (2 hospitals in my trust) and you make your own appointment.
