Further long than expected?

First pregnancy, unexpected but graciously traumatically received
I have always been very conscientious with my period tracking app, based off this and clarification at booking in appointment with midwife I have been estimated at 8 weeks pregnant to the date. I however am wondering if I may be about a month further along than this based on the fact that I have been feeling early pregnancy symptoms for longer than this time. My mother also had periods still during pregnancy hence my going off of my last period not being entirely accurate. Has anyone else experienced the same where they actually ended up being further along than they were estimated? If so how much further? Thanks in advance

I couldn’t remeber where I was when I tested, so I just picked a date.

I expected to be about 8 weeks at a private scan and I was actually 12.

That meant I only got symptoms at about 8 weeks. So later not earlier.

This happened to me, a month further along than I thought (apparently I conceived just before my period so my body had already started preparing itself for my period and didn't stop.

Thanks for the comments, I guess I'll have to wait until my first scan to get confirmation but I do definitely think I'm further than predicted due date

If I waited for my nhs first one I would have been 16 weeks and too late for screening, so I am glad I got it cleared up.

I had a private scan, cost £90 but glad I did

Apparently people go to the early pregnancy unit for anxiety..I went at week 6 and week 8 because of bleeding I felt I was wasting their time after they said everything was ok....they told me that they welcome anyone even if it's for anxiety....so u could call them and tell them your worried and they will scan you...one way to find out for sure lol xx.

I suspected I was pregnant when I started to get symptoms. Was my second I was so shocked when I was told I was 20 weeks. Did make it a very short pregnancy.
