Hello sorry for tmi, just after some advice please

I'm at work but have just noticed some blood on tissue when i wipe and some in underwear (not loads but more than a drop)

Shall i call maternity straight away? It's just awkward cos i'm at work and there isn't another manager on to relieve me, i've put a pad on for now but think i should just call and see what they say? I can go be checked out much easier this afternoon than this morning if i need to be
sorry I know health of baby comes first and it does, what shall i do? Should i just call now or can i hang on to see if theres any blood on pad soon?

@Stargirl90 I'd ring them and ask if you can pop in this afternoon. Best to get checked sooner rather than later.

I would call now, personally.

The hospital might want you to come in now, or they might be ok with you waiting until later. Either way, it isn’t your fault that there isn’t another manager to cover you.

Hope everything is ok 💐

I'd call and go in at some point today

Kintan · 12/07/2018 08:22

Definitely get checked out - hope you aren’t too stressed, I’m sure everything is fine, but best to get checked just to put your mind at ease.

If it was me I'd ring now. They may tell you to not to worry unless you fill a pad within an hour as this is what they told me when I bled at 18 weeks but it turned out i had an infection that I needed anti biotics for.
Wishing you all the best

Thanks so much

Just called them and the lady said to wear a pad and see if i have any pain or if it continues then give a call back and they'll get me in to be checked

Phew

Remember if you are rhesus neg you will need the anti D. I am in hospital now waiting for mine because I woke up to some blood today at 22 weeks x
