Baby shower

Hello everyone😊 my mum has asked if she could throw me a baby shower which is lovely and I am so grateful. But I am not a very girly girl and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for baby showers I.e. games etc that are a bit different and fun. I am having a little boy if that makes a difference to any suggestions. Thank you so much in advance xxx

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

A friend of mine had a poster where you guessed the birth weight and date and we had a baby related quiz. One round that was particularly memorable was guess the baby food flavour! You sample the jar and guess the flavour. Could have a race where you have to change a doll's nappy as quickly as possible.

You could just avoid games and have a really nice lunch out, or a picnic? Don't feel you have to have games, or loads of coloured balloons etc if you don't want them Smile

Otherwise I'm sure others will have lots of fun games suggestions!

For mine, everyone bought a children's book they loved as a gift for the baby. They also bought a photo of themselves as a baby and added it to a wall so others could guess who was who. My friend knew I wouldn't want loads of traditionally girly decs or games and we just mainly had a nice meal out for a chat with cake and prosecco. Lots of people seemed pleased there were no games actually!

I'm going to do a BBQ as my version of a baby shower... but say no prevents, so basically a 'before baby comes' party. :)

I'm the same... hate anything too fussy so the girls at work organised an afternoon tea with just us... it was lovely Smile we did guess the date/weight etc and nobody got it right haha
