OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ZacheryQuack · 30/05/2007 12:47

We have Benjamin Christopher and Alice Charlotte.

If DS had been a girl he was going to be Bethany. Still not sure what DD would have been (good thing she was a girl really). Probably would have been William.

I like Imogen (we know one who is known as Immy)
Sophia
Madeleine
Hermione
Harriet

Still can't think of any boy's names .

Anna8888 · 30/05/2007 12:52

LieselVentouse - Flora is a beautiful name.

scorpio1 · 30/05/2007 12:57

Get the Cool Names For Babies book, only a few ££ from Smiths, really helpful.

Upsadaisygoonpunkmakemyday · 30/05/2007 12:59

Olivia
Harrison / harry
Luke
Joshua

ELF1981 · 30/05/2007 13:00

My 19month old dd is Evelyn Boo.

We are hoping for one more. If a boy, we like Lewis Marshall, I like Kieran as well. If we have a girl, we like Lily Rae, I like Gabriella too.

Pennypops · 30/05/2007 13:04

Bit random this and I can't remember where I saw this but I really like Fitz for a boy.

Thoughts? Be honest.

All I've managed to come up with so far that DH and I agree on are Thomas and William which I also really like but Fitz has rarity value.

scorpio1 · 30/05/2007 13:06

wasn't there a Mr. Fitz Herbert in Bridget Jones??

its ok actually, maybe you could use it as a middle name?

Tinker · 30/05/2007 13:06

Isn't Fitz Robbie Coltrane's character's nickname in Cracker? Um, not really a name I think.

Tinker · 30/05/2007 13:07

It just mean son in Irish doesn't it - Fitzgerald, Fitzpatrick etc

beller · 30/05/2007 13:09

hmm thought i had posted here?
I like Daisy for a girl....not sure on a boys name..but have ages to think!

Bodkin · 30/05/2007 13:12

Liesel - Flora is a great name (slight bias on that one, as it is my name!) And still fairly unusual. Gooooowaaaaan, you know you want it....

Pennypops · 30/05/2007 13:14

Ok, so Fitz conjours images of Mr TitsPervert in Bridget Jones and the hummungous Robbie Coltrane in Cracker.

Back to the drawing board.

lilolilmanchester · 30/05/2007 13:21

We couldn't agree on a boy's name first time around. 100% agreed on a girl's name, Megan Rose, so of course had a boy. 2nd time around 100% certain about boy's name (Mark Peter), couldn't agree on a girl's name (too many Megans around us by then) so naturally had a girl.... Still like those names tho.

Pennypops · 30/05/2007 13:27

We are still agreed on Emmeline Alice for a girl. There are so many beautiful girls names but we are struggling for boy names....

RuthChan · 30/05/2007 13:39

My DD is Anna Mary.
Chose Mary as a middle name after my mum because my middle name is my grandmother's name.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/05/2007 14:58

Anne-Marie was on our shortlist.

I know someone whose DD is Cezara Ann (I don't know if she was born by caesarean).

mozhe · 30/05/2007 15:13

PrncessPeaHead is brilliant at suggesting names!! She suggested Tristan, and we are going with that for our no6 ! Apparently she named Aloha's DD too...though don't know what...Call her over here, she will sort you all out...

Tinkjon · 30/05/2007 15:30

Liesel, Flora was the name I wanted for a girl, but DH vetoed it. I think it is gorgeous, just the right mixture of unusual but not pretentious. We are going with Freya for a girl, but I'm worried there are getting to be too many of those around now? I only know of one other at the moment, but it seems like it's getting to be quite popular and I don't want it to suddenly explode into popularity at the last minute!

lilylilyrose · 30/05/2007 15:31

doyouwantfrieswiththat, my younest sister is named Eloise - and she would have been Dominic if a boy...

nearlythere · 30/05/2007 15:37

Jacob Gareth
Samuel Luke
Ameilia Carys

dss's are
Joseph Micheal
Matthew John

SO, we went for biblical with the boys, ameilia was a name i'd had in my head for years for a girl! or Thalia

Anna8888 · 30/05/2007 15:38

tinkjon - Freya went up to 23rd most popular given name in England and Wales in 2006, up 8 places on 2005... so yes, it is "exploding".

Why did your DH veto Flora?

shanks313 · 30/05/2007 15:46

DD-Deanna Eliza Teryl

Second DC will be Mia Courtney or Daniel Carson.

I also like the name Logan for a boy.

hunkermunker · 30/05/2007 15:49

Hepzibah or Cuthbert.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/05/2007 16:10

doyouwantfrieswiththat - we have a Dominic (first name) and an Eloise (middle name). They are both beautiful names

Hunkermunker - your names are, er, how shall I put it, unusual. I'd call them Pizzy and Cutie. (If I had to.)

CristinaTheAstonishing · 30/05/2007 16:13

BTW I know HM is making them up. I'd never be so rude
