we have used William, Thomas & Romilly. Like trad. names for boys and wanted something a bit more unusual for a girl.

susiemj · 20/11/2007 10:41

Well, I'm kind of frustrated because DH like Beatriz the best. He says it is 'so beautiful all little princesses should be called Beatriz'. CUTE! I think it sounds beautiful in Spanish (BAY-a-triz) but not so much so in English (Bee-er-tris). Somehow it seems to have 'stuck' as her name, though.

micegg · 20/11/2007 11:15

DD is Hannah.

Thinking of Ted (Edward) if DC2 is a boy. Undecided on a girls name. I have kept the name choices to myself this time as last time it reallt peed me off when people gave their opinions. Havent even told my mum. I think she will be a bit shocked if we name the baby Ted

I@ve got a pupil called Teddy and I really like it. Edward is lovely too.

Janus · 20/11/2007 11:44

Susie, Beatriz is a beautiful name, especially pronouned the Spanish way. Surely if you pronouce it the Spanish way everyone else will use it that way too, rather than the English way. Lovely.
I like Ted too, hadn't thought of that one, may add it to my (short!) list of boys names.
Sorry, you may already have said, but do you know you are having a girl?

Sarahjct · 20/11/2007 11:47

My LO will be Harriet Caroline.

If, despite all the scans, she turns out to be a boy he will be Edward Alan.

susiemj · 20/11/2007 12:14

Thanks for the vote of confidence in Beatriz. We are expecting a girl. If, as Sarahjct says, she turns out to be a girl, he'll be Joseph Emmanuel(as an approximation of Jose Manuel)

Sweetiesandcakes · 20/11/2007 13:26

My DD is called Freya. We are trying for number 2 and if its a girl we will be calling her Lola. DH wants Harvey for a boy -I would rather something else but I struggled with Boys names during the first pregnancy so I think I will give in. It reminds me of Jordon though as her first born is called Harvey!!

Anarchymummy · 20/11/2007 15:13

Cathryn Willow (for a girl obviously)
William Alexander (if it turns out she's a boy after all)

good luck xx

We've got Keilan (boy) and Daniel now. Had we had a girl (which we didn't!!) it would have been Willow or Elanie (2nd time around) and Mia or Eithne (1st time around).
