My first pregnancy I wanted to try for normal delivery but as I didn't dilate after induced labour (worst pain ever) I had to have a Emergency Csection. So I'm not pregnant again 2yrs later & I decided to have a csection. However after today's appointment it's got me thinking. The doctor at no point said No to a c-section but he did say how they can book me a csection for 40weeks but I could naturally go into labour before and could have a normal delivery. However if I didn't by 40weeks I could have a c-section and they wouldn't induce me like they did last time. He also said due to me being a high risk pregnancy (bmi over 40) wound could get infected (happened after my last Csection). Also how the scar tissues formed on the inside after my csection could make my placenta to stick & therefor when I have a csection again they wouldn't take out my placenta then, but I would have to have a hysterectomy later on after the section. Anyone been through this? What would you do?
Also he asked me to take low dose of Asprin today 75mg, he said because of my bmi I should have already been taking this (no one told me) to thin my blood so I don't form clots. I wasn't asked to take this in my last pregnancy so wasn't sure. He said I can buy it over the counter so will pick that up tomorrow. Anyone else having this for the same reason?
Any advice would be really appreciated xx
