Itching hands and feet

I've put it off thinking it is maybe just due to the heat but its getting so much worse at night and being 34 weeks I'm unsure what to do.
Is this a ring MAU at this time with it being nearly ten at night or do I leave it until the morning? Stressing as I know it is a sign of intrahepatic cholestasis as my friend said her friend had and things got dangerous. Sorry if anyone find this a silly question but I'm a young first time mum so I'm just in a bit of a tizzy over it now x

I would ring your on call midwife or whatever you have locally, they really won't mind and it's better safe than sorry - your friend is right it can be serious so get checked out!

I would always err on the side of caution. It’s better to get checked, regardless of the reason for the itching.

Please get checked over tonight.

I'm not sure of the local midwives number or if they're on call this late the only number I have is my local maternity Assesment unit should I give them a call now? Hate pestering them 😩

You should have a number to ring somewhere in your notes pack. The daytime number usually goes through to on call overnight. If you get no joy then try your maternity unit they'll be able to advise you. Good luck! And don't worry!!

I've spoken to local MAU and they have asked me to go in ASAP in the morning and have blood work done, growth scan and have my little man monitored so fingers crossed all is okay! Thanks for your quick replies ladies, so glad to have this support network here! X

Glad they're on the case. Hope you get some sleep tonight - all the best for tomorrow...
