Quite an embarressing subject for me at the moment. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and this has just started today, never got this far along with DD as she was planned c section at 37 weeks and was breech and quite high up. Over the past few days i have felt like i haven't been able to empty my bladder fully, understandable really i thought as baby feels very low down and my bump has dropped that was until today when i have started to wet my self a bit before even getting to the bathroom. As soon as i get to the top of the stairs its like the flood gates open and its a race to get there before i wet my self ( which has happened 3 times today) i do kegals religiously. Anyone have or had this?!

Hiya and it's very very common.

Kegels work wonders but not when baby is pressing on bladder - I'm 35 weeks and have same issue and had same issue when pregnant in 2014.

When on the loo rock your hips back and forth then lean back - you probably have a few drops left at end and between that and discharge it's a wonderful mix lol.

Maternity pads too at this stage as wee man here is transverse and not moving so ouchie

I asked midwife about this she suggested going to loo every hour ( even if you don't feel the need).

Hiya yeah it's a bloody nightmare but so funny to see him kick or headbutt me lol.

Biggest tip - puppy training pads at night - about a tenner from Home Bargains etc and 10x better than maternity bed pads.

What we do for our kids lol
