Hello ladies, I hope one of you might have had the same experience as me.
For over 2 months now, one nerve seems to be stuck just above my right ass (sorry, tmi). I tried to stretch and all but doesn't seem to get better. Every step I take with my right leg is painful. I walk like I have a disability...Blush
Is that just me or could this be my baby squashing my nerve down there ?
I am 24+2 days, if that helps.
Thank you everyone xx

Sounds like sciatica. Its baby sitting on your sciatic nerve and it's fucking painful. Ask your midwife for a physio referral, they can assess you for a support belt that will take some of the weight off.

It does sound like the sciatic nerve. Google sciatic nerve glides and try some of the exercises. That might free it up. Alternatively find a qualified massage professional who is trained in working on pregnant women and see if a couple of sessions will help. Its likely though that it will bug you for the rest of your pregnancy and you will have to keep it moving to free it.

Google seated piriformis stretch, normal way impossible with a bump but that really helped when I had the same pain. Also lying in bed on your side and gently lift leg up as high as is comfortable then lower it again - I used to do 10 of these for each leg and the two exercises used to keep it at bay

Thank you so much for your quick replies. I Google that sciatic nerve now and will try some exercises. Let's hope it goes away before baby is due Smile xx
