Baby clothes/bits

Hi all. I'm 25 wks and I've been taking advantage of the summer sales for all the lovely girls clothes out there. We haven't done our nursery room up yet, but now I don't know where to put all these clothes I've brought for the baby. They are currently in the bags I brought them in but its getting messy! How did you mum's store these things before doing up the nursery (I don't have baby furniture yet so can't put in there). Tia.

Mine are in plastic boxes 😂😂a box for 0-3m and a box for 3-6m! On my third pregnancy and so far refusing to buy anything smaller as I didn’t for my other two as they didn’t seem to do such a selection of ages up to 3m 5 years ago!

Thank god someone else is in the same boat. I've got all babygros still in the plastics packaging haven't got enough roomy o hang them up/ put them in drawers yet!

Just put them in a few bags and put them to one side?

I was a bit funny about having everything out and visible before I was due. I just had things organised in boxes and stacked neatly in a storage cupboard so I knew where everything was and ready to go when I put out some stuff at 39 weeks.

Afew boxes or bags labelled with sizes. You could get vacuum storage bags if you’re struggling for space.

My stuff is all in bags for life with labels on the handles indicating the contents.

At the moment they're all stacked in our bedroom as the whole house is being renovated, but I'm hoping to put some away this weekend

Just get a cardboard box and put them in that?

Personally I can't help because I don't like nurseries so didn't have one as i knew the baby would be in with us as long as possible. And I'm superstitious so I didn't get anything until the month before, and even that was just what I needed to get, and it was stored at my mums until the baby was home. All we had at home was what was needed for the hospital. We kept it in the bags from the shop, until it was time to pack my case for the hospital.
