Hi

Just found out that I'm pregnant with baby number 2. 😊

When I was pregnant with my DD, I was tired, had sore boobs, felt nauseous (was never sick) and mild cramps around the time AF was due at very start of pregnancy.

I'm only 4+2, so very very early, but I only feel tired.

My DD is only 6 months old, so DH thinks my body is used to pregnancy hormones that's why I'm not experiencing many symptoms. Could this be true?

Where your symptoms different for each pregnancy?

Yes, different with all three. With my first I had severe nausea (minimal sickness) and sore boobs from about 5 weeks. With my second I had no sore boobs at all, was sick every morning but felt fine after being sick. With my current pregnancy I have been really, really sick (up to 10 times a day) with extreme food aversions, no sore boobs. It started around 6 weeks.

Thanks @SoyDora I was worried about that lack of symptoms.

Yep, different in both. In my first I had no symptoms, I didn't know until about 6 weeks, I just felt totally normal. This time, I knew from day one, felt horrible, nauseous, tired, bloated.

myotherbagisgucci · 08/07/2018 19:32

@usernotfound0000 it feels completely different to my first!

Mine have been so different, I was sure it must mean that I was having a boy this time (already have DD) but unless the sonographer is wrong, I'm having another girl. All pregnancies are different.

myotherbagisgucci · 08/07/2018 19:41

@usernotfound0000 my mum said exact same thing today, about having a boy! I think we'll leave this one as a surprise!

We had a surprise first time so I let DH decide this time and he wanted to know. I had been expecting boy though!

I'm 10 weeks into my second pregnancy and this one is so different so far! Last time I felt absolutely vile from the day I found out - very nauseous (though not sick v much), went totally off coffee and tea and was so tired I could barely stand. It eased off around week 13 but then I got pelvic pain. This time I haven't felt nearly so sick, just the odd bit of nausea (very thankful as it's been hot all the time I've been pregnant) and still the bone-tiredness. Also this week my boobs have inflated rather nicely Grin. It's all so different when you have a toddler to run around after!

I didn’t have symptoms with any of mine until 5/6 weeks so wouldn’t worry about feeling nothing as early as 4 weeks.

With my boys I felt nauseous all day from week 5-16 and with DS1 lots of vomiting accompanied that. I also felt knackered, lethargic and had terrible skin for the first trimester. I cried a lot throughout both those pregnancies too and got really emotional about food Blush. Breasts really hurt throughout and were huge and I peed none stop throughout too, never got a break from that.

With my DD’s I barely had a symptom at all. Started peeing constantly in third trimester and felt uncomfortable but other than that, wouldn’t have known I was pregnant had I not missed periods.

1 - didn't know I was pregnant for 5 months. Then had a couple weeks of mild nausea, puked once, just rather tired.
2 - started feeling sick five days after the conceptive shag, and stayed that way for five months and slept for the other five.
SPD from hell both times.

myotherbagisgucci · 08/07/2018 23:21

conceptive shag that did make me giggle @MonumentVal 😅

Good thread OP. So far my second pregnancy is (unfortunately, as I'm not feeling good!) very similar to my first - although I haven't been sick quite as much this time, but I have the same constant nausea and bloating and tiredness.

As a result I am adamant that we are having a DS2!

SoyDora · 09/07/2018 07:56

WhirlingTurkey my first 2 were completely different and I have 2 DD’s! Third completely different again so no idea what this one will be Grin

Thanks everyone, I've still no real symptoms, not like my last pregnancy anyway. I just hope everything's ok in there! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
