heart problem at 20 week scan

I wonder if anyone can help! We had our 20 week scan and everything was fine other than when we got to the heart, she said everything looked fine and heart beat looked regular but there was an extra vessel in the heart, we were referred to a consultant and she confirmed that there was an extra vessel and we have been referred to Liverpool Women's Hospital to a specialist my notes state and accessory azygos vein, can anyone help or know what this is and what to expect? thanks x

Did the consultant not explain what it was or what to expect?

No she said she's referred to LMH to a heart specialist didn't really say much other than not to Google anything and not to worry about it, which I obviously am worrying! x
