so I have no clue when it comes to bras as I've always been small up top but being pregnant I've grown these big boobs overnight I'm sure 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I'm 39 weeks and I plan to breast feed so I understand I have to go a size or two up in bra right? As they will get bigger but I have no idea what the next size exact is from 38DD ? Tried googling and got even more confused 😂

Depends if you need more back room or boob room. For back room try 40D. For boob room try 38E.

38F. But honestly Don’t buy bra sized nursing bras now - you’re likely to go down a back size, maybe two, once you've given birth as at the moment your bump will be skewing everything measurements wise, and you will have no idea what your cup size will do yet (certainly bigger but how much varies hugely and will link in with the change of back size) . Buy a couple of stretchy nursing bras (Mothercare do double packs, you’ll prob want a L or XL as they are not that generous in the cups) - use those for the first 8 weeks or so then once your supply settles (so you are reasonably consistent in size) get a really good nursing bra fitted. I recommend Bravissimo for fitting (they are able to fit nursing bras and have good experience of doing so) and suggest you try the Freya Pure - bit pricy but 100% worth it as it has a flexiwire so gives brilliant (and safe) support and good shaping. It is also an a-frame bra so gives you a little bit of coverage even when you open the cups to feed.

Also the boob or bust calculator online is a good way to work out what size you should be wearing if you can’t get into a Bravissimo

Just buy the stretchy ones, you can't know how big they'll get until after.
