Hey all. Been thinking of getting a sleepy head, but I've been told my a few people that they aren't really safe when it comes to SIDS! Anyone aware of any conflicting information?

Bumping for you and watching (sorry no help from me!) - also want to know if they are worth it / opinions on risk. Google is a minefield!

No conflicting information. Supposedly Tesco and others have stopped selling them because they are such a risk.

It won’t be SIDS that the baby dies from it will be out and our suffocation.

Sleep positioners/cushions are not generally safe. Sleepyheads are different as they are designed to be breathable. That said there are still some who wouldn't be happy to use one. I think everyone needs to look into it and make their own assessment.

We had one and it was a life saver because it was the only place DS would sleep for longer than 10 minutes that wasn't my arms.

The website has some more information: sleepyheadofsweden.com/
