laying on side with him behind was only way. But, largely we gave it a miss. Too painful.

spoons ? but quite a lot of abstinence tbh, was very painful. I ended up in hosfor a month before DD was born, but as soon as she was born it was a lot better

omg lisa - I think I would have battered dh with the crutch if he'd attempted sex when I had spd!

I can only imagine you on all fours (doggy style) is about the most comfortable position.

god i have 19 weeks to go yet!! aghhhhh

Lisa, I think you might have to find some, ahem, alternatives to full on sex for the rest of your pregnancy. Seriously, for me, it was just far too painful to even contemplate.

To quote Gareth Cheeseman, played by Steve Coogan in "Coogan's Run", "A wank, I think."
I had spd and thought I was going to fall to bits. Sex seemed like an hilarious joke at the time - a pity, as I'm quite slutty . Are you having oestopathy? It helps ENORMOUSLY when you feel like you've "clicked" into a bad position. I can recommend Nadine Goldman if you're in London - she's £50 a session but worth every penny. Specialises in pregnant women with spd.

mine didn't go away after ds was born either (just to pre warn you - it might go straight away, but it might not). Which was useful really, because I was so knackered, getting my leg over was about the last thing on my mind.

lisad123 · 26/05/2007 21:37

LOL, my physio has warned me it might take a while to go
DH hasnt even hinted or asked its me
oh well, best find other forms of fun
hehe
