Fuck - had red-raw thighs yesterday from walking in the heat on holiday and merrily put metanium on them before bed to try and help healing , since it was the only vaguely suitable thing i had with me (for DD). Am 7 weeks pregnant and just didn’t think. Google hs NOTHING to say on the subject. I have spent all night freaking out. Please someone, tell me you used it in pregnancy with no ill effects?

If it’s safe enough to put on a newborn, it’s not going to do any harm, is it? Plenty of women have a toddler they still be using cream on whilst they are pregnant and will get it all over their hands. If it was unsafe, they would state so on the packaging.

Why would it be an issue on a pregnant woman when it’s fine on a newborn baby?

It’s not being ingested, it doesn’t get into your system subcutaneously, it won’t even get to the baby.

If Google has nothing to say then that says it all, I think! If it was harmful, there would be plenty of information about it.
