Craving Sunday roast

Heavily craving a Sunday roast dinner for around 7 weeks now. To get rid of the craving do I have to eat a Sunday roast or does it just go away after a long period of time??

Why can't you just eat a roast if you want one...?

Candyflip · 07/07/2018 06:25

Have you not had one in 7 weeks? Why not? I found I had cravings for several weeks and then they gave way to something else. Just go with the cravings.

Hideandgo · 07/07/2018 06:25

Just have a Sunday Roast!?!?

Emma198 · 07/07/2018 06:30

Get yourself to a carvery girl.

FrangipaniBlue · 07/07/2018 07:06

I lived on Sunday roast every day right through my pregnancy as it was the only food that didn't make me feel sick!

Minus the potatoes though as they didn't agree with me either lol

BigCarrot · 07/07/2018 07:11

Eat the roast it will go! I really wanted one though thought about it for days, spent hours cooking it, really enjoyed it then brought the whole thing up! Was only one of the two times I was sick when I was pregnant!

Oysterbabe · 07/07/2018 07:26

Why wouldn't you just make a roast?

orangejuicer · 07/07/2018 07:45

I had a Toby carvery on weds last week during my work lunch break. No regrets Grin

WhirlingTurkey · 07/07/2018 07:45

Just make/go for a roast! Why would you deny yourself for seven weeks?! Give in to the craving, it's the only way. Unless you are craving something harmful like bleach then it's best to listen to your body.
My current need is gravy, I'm having it at every meal!!

isambardo · 07/07/2018 07:49

Just have a roast!!

Athers666 · 07/07/2018 08:15

Haha, I had this craving as well recently! Went to Toby Carvery twice in one week😁

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 07/07/2018 08:17

Err, just have a roast!

TittyGolightly · 07/07/2018 08:17

I was the same. For about 4 months of my pregnancy I averaged 6 (veggie) carveries a week. Yum.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 07/07/2018 08:18

You need to download the Toby Carvery App and get yourself down there. When I was pg I found the best way to get rid of a craving wax to eat it, eat sone more and then eat it again Grin

HeresMeh · 07/07/2018 08:28

Oh my god ME TOO!!!

It's the ONLY thing that I've had a hankering for and I got myself all sorted last Sunday with one thinking it would tick all the boxes... and still I just want to ram a carvery down my face daily for breakfast lunch and dinner!! 🤣

Kraggle · 07/07/2018 08:33

I had loads of carverys when I was pregnant last time. It’s a great craving to have when you have a reasonable carvery nearby!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 07/07/2018 08:46

And Toby even do a vegan roast if eating meat is an issue.

ememem84 · 07/07/2018 08:50

Just eat one.

WhirlingTurkey · 07/07/2018 11:40

Can we all get together for a roast please ladies? I want one too now!!

orangejuicer · 07/07/2018 14:06

I've just had roast potatoes, broccoli and gravy for lunch. Obsessed!

Great, now I know what we are having for dinner!

Why not just have one?! Or multiple if you fancy it!

WhirlingTurkey · 07/07/2018 18:50

OP, please come back! I really need to know why you haven't had a roast in seven weeks of craving one... #overinvested

Celebelly · 07/07/2018 18:52

Mine is cooking and is almost ready!
