Asking the same old stuff again :(

So I'm here again. Asking this question again. And will probably have the same outcome. Again.
I'm 10 weeks pregnant (had scan last week) and the past few days have noticed my symptoms dropping off. No sickness, no exhaustion, boobs getting smaller. And now I've just had awful diarrhoea (sorry TMI) and when I wiped saw pink tinged ewcm. It's all over again isn't it?!
Would post a picture but it won't let me :(

I'm sorry to read this. You just never know though so just try to get to sleep and try to have an early scan tomorrow. Take care xx

ew1990 · 07/07/2018 01:08

I had this but a lot more at 10 weeks. DD is now 8 months old- and I think the placenta may take over around now that's why your symptoms may not be as bad - do you have an EPU you can self refer too?

FuckMyUterus · 07/07/2018 01:13

Our EPU doesn't take self referrals and my midwife won't answer her phone now until Monday, by which time it'll either have stopped (oh god I hope it stops, I've never wanted anything more) or it'll be well on its way to being over.

ew1990 was yours following diarrhoea too? Found lots of sites where it says spotting is normal after constipation but not diarrhoea.

OP posts:
ew1990 · 07/07/2018 01:24

It wasn't know - I was at work and went to the toilet and there was pink blood - put a pad in and the next time I went there was a lot more - I had a scan and everything was fine, could it be placenta attaching?

ew1990 · 07/07/2018 01:25

Have you recently had sex? I got spotting too after sex

FuckMyUterus · 07/07/2018 01:31

Yes had sex Wednesday night, thought it would have happened sooner if it was because of that. Should we lay off for the time being?

I’m now 9+1 and the last two days are the first time since about 6 weeks I’ve not had sporting! It’s scary but scan at 6+4 looked good :/ fingers crossed for you

ew1990 · 07/07/2018 08:21

@FuckMyUterus I don't think there's any need to, can you ring 111 and ask for advice?

Honeybee79 · 07/07/2018 08:43

Sorry to hear this. However, in my last pregnancy I got this a lot, esp after sex. It was the effect of hormones on my cervix, on investigation. Horrible to have it happening at the wkend though when you feel so powerless as can't see anyone or get it investigated.

Let us know how things go and I have everything crossed for you.

Pregnancy symptoms come and go too, so loss of symptoms isn't necessarily a bad sign, but I appreciated the combination is scary.

ClareB83 · 07/07/2018 08:48

I had so much spotting and full on bleeding during my pregnancy, but my twin boys are now 10 weeks old. Unfortunately you just have to wait and see - pregnancy is a bitch like that.

ProseccoPoppy · 07/07/2018 08:51

I had diarrhoea frequently through both my (successful) pregnancies and a weird symptom drop off/spotting at pretty much bang on 10 weeks with DC2 (who is now a big bouncy 3 mo). I went in to EPU in floods of tears (pranging my car on a bollard in the car park and totally failing to pay for parking so getting fined later in the process - utterly my own fault as I was in a state) I was convinced I was losing him at 10 weeks - I thankfully wasn’t and had a scan and check over.

Fingers very firmly crossed for you OP - but this does look like mine did so hopefully you will have the same positive outcome - really really hope you do Flowers

Waitingonasmiley42 · 07/07/2018 08:52

I’m so sorry this is happening! I bled throughout the first trimester with both my pregnancies and both ended in a healthy baby. Really hope it stops and all is well for you. Flowers

FuckMyUterus · 07/07/2018 10:45

Well it had stopped this morning, had nothing when I wiped after morning wee. Now I've just had more diarrhoea, and more spotting :/
Could it be the force (sorry tmi) with which I'm having the diarrhoea? It is fairly explosive 😷

Waitingonasmiley42 · 07/07/2018 16:08

I was just told it was common and to wait it out. Mine seemed to be hormonal and roughly when I would have had a period. Have everything crossed for you it’ll be ok.

For anyone who finds this thread in the distant future, here is an update. Baby is fine, I have a UTI and a small bleed below my pregnancy sac (possibly not unrelated) which although it poses no risk to baby, will probs continue to bleed for another week or even more. If you're spotting, please rest, drink PLENTY of fluids and just hope for the best.

ProseccoPoppy · 09/07/2018 16:49

Op that is brilliant news - so pleased to see your update. Wishing you a wonderfully boring rest of your pregnancy.

eggofmantumbi · 09/07/2018 16:58

OP I'm so glad that was a short thread as I was willing there to be a positive outcome for you x

FuckMyUterus · 09/07/2018 18:16

Thank you both, I'm so pleased! Now to (hopefully) relax and enjoy getting podgy!

OP posts:
ew1990 · 10/07/2018 08:56

Ahh op I'm so happy for you - I remember the terrified feeling - hoping for a healthy pregnancy for you

isambardo · 10/07/2018 12:54

Please to hear the good news op.

In my last pregnancy I had lots of episodes of pink spotting after diarrhoea, also after sex. Only had one big bleed (at 8 weeks) but I never found out if they were connected.

All the best for the next six months or so.

Honeybee79 · 10/07/2018 13:52

Excellent news OP!

FuckMyUterus · 10/07/2018 14:14

Thanks ladies 😊
