Bit concerned, missed period a week ago and had bfp but now I have swollen tummy and am sure I can feel movments. Is it possible that I may be more pregnant than I think or am I imagining things?
Last period was a little lighter but cant remember the previos. Have 2 children already and these do feel like movments! Bit scared I'm imagining it.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

to feel movement, even if you have had other children before around 10 - 12 weeks is really unusual

if you missed a period a week ago, you would be 5 - 6 weeks pregnant, and the baby is way too small, and not even developed enough to kick, and move , certainly not enough to feel..

are you sure it is not just wind or other odd pains and niggles?

perhaps your last period wasn't a proper one and you are 10-12 weeks already........

that is also true cargirl!

Sometimes I get wind that feels like baby kicks. It happens when you've had children already, your muscles get really slack so you are far more sensitive to even wind.

I know i initially thought it was wind but it keeps happening and there is no wind coming out so to speak. I know you dont normally feel anything until 17 wks but at 17 weeks woild I have a hard bump? I can't remember.

you would feel movement earlier than 17 weeks as a mum of 2 already

unless you have missed 3 periods, you are unlikely to be in the second trimester

you could try to feel the top of your uterus, the fundus, like a hard muscular ridge, it can be felt once the uterus has risen out of the pelvis, around 12 weeks or so..just above the pubic bone..or thereabouts

What does 16 weeks feel like?

depends very much on the woman.... i looked much further along in both my pregnancies..it does really vary

do you have reason to believe you are further along than 5-6 weeks
