I know you can have sex when your pregnant.... i just dont understand the logistics of it all??
Im still quite early on (about 10 weeks) but im scared as hell he will squash my stomach when hes on top :/ (sorry to be crude)
Does anyone have any advise? Or am i being totally stupid, we havent had sex since I found out (last friday) and dont think he'll hold off much longer haha :p

Side/spoon position might be more comfortable.

I’m 36 weeks and still manage, sometimes bump gets in the way a bit but we just laugh it off and rearrange to a more bump friendly position BlushGrin

The baby, especially at the moment, is so low down that it's under the pelvic bone. Unless your partner is going to break through bone, you're safe.

As you get bigger try different positions where he's behind you or you're on top but at 39 weeks we could still do missionary without hurting the baby, just takes a bit more positioning as he couldn't lay flat.

Well there are plenty of different positions, but he won't be squishing anything at this stage (and presumably he's not just lying like a dead weight on top of you?!).

At present your baby is about the size of a date and is tucked safely behind your pelvic bone so he won’t be crushing anything. As you reach the second trimester it’s not recommended you do missionary as you shouldn’t lay on your back for extended periods but honestly, eventually you can’t even manage missionary anyway!

Spooning or you on top become the best positions.

Get thee on top!

At 10 weeks the baby is so small you can just carry on. Sex is not going to harm your baby unless he intends to jump up and down on your pelvis. As you get bigger, just mix up the positionsGrin
