Consultant led care

At my booking appointment due to high BMI i have consultant led care. Went to the appointment at 16+3. I have my anomly scan at 19+3 and then the community midwife at 20+2. They have booked me in advance for a growth scan/consultant appointment at 30+3.

Is it normal to be back and forth between the community midwife and consultant?

Yes, I'm under consultant led care and it was the same. I think you only see a consultant every appointment if they are particularly concerned.

That's good then my work are being amazing with time off so that's a bonus. I don't mind more appointment/extra scabs just see it as a bonus.

I also have to factor in I am rhesus negative so will have an appointment for that too at 28 weeks

Yes was the same here, towards the end I saw the consultant every week.

Yes, it does get a bit of a pain!

I’m 36 weeks and my last month is like this
35- cons
36 - midwife
37 - cons
38 - GP, cons & pre op
39 - cons and c section

I feel like I live at the hospital!
