Cleft lip

Hi. Not sure if I'm worrying myself silly here or what. Had my 20 week scan Monday everything fine however baby wouldn't move his hands from his face at all she was questioning cleft lip. After around 20 mins of moving around etc near the end of the scan she said there's his nose and then showed us his lips. Cleft lip was then not mentioned (I would love my child whatever by the way) I felt abit rushed off nearer the end of the scan and was worried that maybe she'd just wanted us out. She knows I'll be having growth scans so I've been panicking that she thought she'd just leave it that day. Sorry for the rambling however if she suspected that surely something more would have been said that day and we'd have seen someone else or been referred to see someone else? There's nothing mentioned in scan report everything seen/normal.

If your baby was likely to have cleft lip the hospital would have called to talk to you by now if they hadn't spoke to you on the day. With any abnormalities in tests and scans they talk to you asap.

I should have added I had a difficult 20 week scan due to my baby continuous moving and then not being in the right position. My initial scan appointment took a long time as after the sonographer prodded around and me wiggling my baby wouldn't move. I then had to come back about 40 minutes later after having a sugary food and drink, and walking around. My baby had shifted and she quickly took the rest of the measurements before my baby went back in their preferred position. If she couldn't take the measurements I would have had to come back 1-2 weeks later as they have to get the measurements, and can't produce the scan report without them.
