Any advice on 'fanny daggers'?

Pregnant with DD2 and she insists on getting herself into the most awkward positions, which then creates what I can only describe as 'fanny daggers'. Anyone got any tips or tricks on getting her to move?

How many weeks are you? I've been getting the same the past week and it's a shocker! I'm nearly 39 weeks so baby is obviously getting himself ready to come out 😬

Fanny daggers is exactly the phrase I've been looking for to describe the pain! No advise but it bloody hurts!

I'm only 9 weeks but plagued with fanny daggers and javelin arse already. Didn't get them until the end last time.

Same here OP! 38 weeks with DS and he LIVES for kicking the shit out of my bits. Actually, he's been head down for about 5 weeks so he's continually headbutting them. DD was the opposite - she liked tucking herself up high in my ribs, which was just as painful! I didn't wee quite so much with her, but I can definitely breathe better with DS...

You have my sympathies!

Nothing you can do as far as I'm aware. But it helps to know that it's meant to mean the baby's head is thinning your cervix!

I'm 34+2 and can't imagine having this for (potentially) another 7 weeks ish. Argh! It isn't constant, and much more likely to happen when I am walking, so bad ai have to stop and take a breath sometimes nd you can see people panicking in case it is labour.
