Trapped Wind?

Hi - currently 20 weeks pregnant and last night it felt like someone was poking skewers through my whole belly. I've never felt anything like it. I can only assume it was trapped wind, but has anyone else experienced it that painfully?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’m 21 weeks and I’ve been suffering with trapped wind too! It’s bloody painful! Have been in agony some days. Very common 2nd trimester symptom from what I’ve read.

It can be absolute agony! I had it really badly once in my first pregnancy (too much hummus!). It took me over an hour to do a 5/10 minute walk as I was literally crippled and kneeling on the London pavement with the pain. I swear it was worse than contractions!
I really hope you feel better soon. Google foods that cause wind/bloat as I was really surprised by some of them. Broccoli for example!

Yeah well, last night we had some chicken wings and potato salad with the football! Then within like 20 minutes, I was rolling around on the sofa thinking I was having contractions haha. I have a lot coming to me if I could barely cope with wind!!

I guess its nice to know I am not the only one. Not that I'd wish it on anyone!!

Thank you both.
