Thick glob of jelly like discharge after sex?

Sorry for the gruesome title, has anyone else experience thick globs of jelly discharge the day after sex? It's not tinged with any blood but freaky out it could be mucous plug? I'm only 19 weeks

OMG I had this a few weeks back and cried for hours. It is just grim bits of discharge and i think a mixture of just how it comes "back out" when you're this pregnant.

It freaked me out massively at 16 weeks, but now we are back having sex all the time I'm used to it. It happens every time and I'm now 20w.

Happened to me at the weekend. I ended up having a panic attack convinced it was the mucus plug and that I was going to go into premature labour as a result. A quick google showed that parts of the mucus plug can and do come away throughout pregnancy and it regenerates.

Thanks ladies, you've made me feel a bit better. Text the midwife this morning and she said unless bleeding and having strong cramps, it's sounds fine. X
