Spotting, cramps, no more sore boobs

Hello.

I'm around 5w2d pregnant. Had period like cramps from the positive test over a week ago. On Sunday night I ended up in my local EPAU after spotting, had internal exam to check my womb is closed which is was, had bloods which came back high enough to be booked for a scan tomorrow. Slightly concerned that I've now had a loss of my sore boobs and still spotting and cramping. I know I'm unlikely to see anything on a scan. Anyone got any advice please?

It’s perfectly normal to cramp, experience spotting and for symptoms to come and go in the first trimester. The later you get on into the first trimester, the less normal and more worrying it becomes but at the stage you are at it is almost expected.

I would ask for another scan after six weeks, they can see a heartbeat then.
