Stressing out because it's too easy

I'm 10 weeks today. Not vomited a single time. Boobs are bigger and I'm a bit weepy but other than that, nothing and I'm stressing out that my app says I should be feeling this that and the other but I'm not. I feel like a fraud! I'm not floating at all anne in some ways I'm jealous of people being sick as then i wouldn't feel like this! Has anyone else been like this and been fine? I wouldn't call it being lucky as it's stressing me out. So worried I'll get to the scan and there'll be an empty sac.

Hi! Me too! It's not that i havent felt bad. I feel nauseous if i dont eat almost constantly. I pee a bit more and i go to bed a bit earlier. If i didnt know i was pregnant though probably nothing that would be making me think i definitely was.

Ive had two great scans one yesterday and am 10 weeks today. I think it affects people differently and it really is all relative as well. Congratulations btw.

I’m 23 weeks and I’ve only being sick once so far (at about 21 weeks but that was migraine related and nothing to do with pregnancy!), intermittent boob ache and weepy. Like you I was worried that the lack of pregnancy symptoms that apps / TV etc. say you should have meant that I’d get to a scan and there be nothing there but all is perfectly fine so far. Congratations ☺️

I'm 26 weeks. Never vomited, all I had was mild nausea, usually first thing in the morning, which was solved by eating. My boobs didn't grow and weren't really sore in the first trimester (except my nipples if I got cold, omg that was painful). The only real symptom I had was exhaustion. It is very common to worry that you will get to 12 weeks and find nothing there, but you are far more likely to be super excited to see an actual baby in there. It's such a weird and awesome moment. Try to stay calm and not fret away the next two weeks xx

I'm jealous that you have had minimal symptoms! 😂

I'm 37 weeks and I'm pretty sure I've had every possible symptom you can get! Tbh, it sucks! Not enjoying it at all. Sad

I've had morning sickness constant for months. Dandruff. Bad back. Aches and pains all over. Can't sleep and haven't been able to properly for months it's so uncomfortable. Leaky nipples. Now I've got a pregnancy related rash with relentless itching which has been about the worse symptom I've had. 😂

Still. Only three weeks to go now.

Good Luck! Xx

Hey I remember feeling exactly the same as you during the first 2 months of my pregnancy. I went the entire 9 months not be my sick, in fact I barely had any symptoms whatsoever the entire pregnancy. Everyone commented how lucky I was. You'll be nervous about your scan, I was, but once you see that little miracle on the screen you'll feel such pride and relief. Hang in there, it'll be ok Smile. You might find along the way you might develop some symptoms. My final month of my pregnancy I ended up with restless legs and heartburn at bedtime....soooo annoying! But can't complain as it was only for about 5 weeks. Once you get any symptoms you'll kick yourself for wishing for them lol.

Thanks so much ladies. I know I've been lucky in many ways but as a PP said I can see why people maybe wouldn't know they were pregnant! I'm just waiting for my scan date then I think it'll feel real

32 weeks and no sickness at all Smile
Until the late 20 weeks I felt great! Tired but otherwise really well.
Once I hit about 28 weeks I definitely became more uncomfortable, bump ache is a thing!
I’ve had minimal bad side effects or symptoms and yes it massively stressed me out for the first 2/3 months but I soon realised how lucky I’ve been!
There’s such thing as a Unicorn Pregnancy - maybe you’re just lucky!!!! Grin

Kintan · 03/07/2018 08:26

I’m the same - 8 weeks and hardly feel any different. Can’t wait for the 12 week scan next month to put my mind at ease. I have to keep telling myself I had minimal symptoms with my son too - and he’s now a happy, healthy 18 month old!

lifechangesforever · 03/07/2018 08:59

38 weeks tomorrow and I didn't have one pregnancy symptom - no vomiting, no sore boobs, no needing the toilet every 2 minutes. It means absolutely nothing.

Soak it up whilst it lasts because by the time 38 weeks comes along, you'll be wondering why you spent the time now being stressed out. Smile

Please, please try and relax. The apps are only telling you what's common, not what every woman must experience. Only a couple more weeks and you'll be seeing baby on screen.

laurG · 03/07/2018 09:00

Hopefully after your scan you can relax. I felt pretty rough in the first trimester. However, I found the rest of the pregnancy very straight forward. Pregnancy isn’t awful for everyone. Some of us get lucky. Just try to enjoy it x

Cariadxx · 03/07/2018 11:17

Yeah even dh is saying things like... I thought you'd be going to the loo more often etc! I think I'll be more relaxed after the scan and we've had the screening tests but I'm still debating whether I can afford to do the NIPT. I'm in Wales so I'll get it on the NHS if I'm more than 1 in 150 risk so I'm going to wait and see what my risk is before forking out £400 unnecessarily!

I've never had any of the usual first trimester symptoms. I know it can be stressful but you really are lucky! It's much better to sail through than be bedridden by sickness or nausea.

LouiseofChalky · 03/07/2018 13:22

I would try not to worry. I had zero pregnancy symptoms and fretted lots only to see a perfectly fine baby at my 12 week scan!

TurquoiseWeekend · 03/07/2018 14:01

This thread is making me feel better. I'm just the same. My boobs are hurting, I'm very emotional and more tired than usual. And so bloated. But I've been worrying because I've not yet had sickness. You always hear that sickness is the sign of a healthy pregnancy don't you.
I've booked an early scan but that's still 2 and a half weeks away. I'm so worried, especially after a previous miscarriage where I had no sickness, that I'll get to the early scan and there won't be anything there.

keely79 · 03/07/2018 14:14

I never had a moment of nausea or morning sickness during my two pregnancies (very lucky) - only symptom throughout pregnancy was growing stomach and craving for pickled Monster Munch (until 8th month when I got very tired, etc). DD and DS now 8 and 6 so all turned out fine!
