WHO IS DUE ON 30TH OCT AND ABLE TO HELP?

Hello ladies,

I HAVE JUST POSTED THIS UNDER ANOTHER TOPIC APPOLOGIES IF YOU HAVE SEEN TWICE AND IF I HAVE POSTED IN THE WRONG PLACE.

I am currently 22+6 I have an EDD of 30.10.2018 however I have a feeling I am a little further gone then estimated and wanted to see if any of you had a similar experience .. sorry if this is in the wrong section.

so a little history - on the 20.02.2018 I randomly POS and got a positive HPT 1 day before AF was due, this was the cheap tests from boots and both showed v.strong lines despite this being midday urine, prior to my AF being due ( all be-it a day) and a cheap test.. later that evening I took another test this time a Clear Blue Digi that again showed up within seconds being a positive then an hour later approx 21:00 I took a Clear Blue Weeks indicator and this showed 2-3 weeks.

the day before my test I had woken to sever period like lower back pain that woke me I was sure period was coming however I was aware as to why it hadn't the next day.

then 3 days later on the 23.02.2018 I had an early scan that showed only the gestation sac and then was booked in from bloods with a follow up within 48 hours then on the 26.02.2018 I had an additional scan along with bloods and was able to see a yolk sac.

fast forward until now I have now had my 20 week scan this was done on 19+6 and showed my little man happily dancing away .. however his femur length and abdominal circumference are above centile with femur length at 34mm and abdominal at 165mm his head was spot on for 20 weeks..

my confusion lies here ... with a EDD of 30.10.2018 I have an estimated conception date of the 5th feb however me an OH only DTD on 27/28/29th of jan and 8th of feb and so I am unsure if little man was conceived before or after the 5.02.2018 and if he is growing as he should or lacking ?!

any advised from mothers due in the same time who are aware as to when the conceived and if my measurements are okay or a concern.

Hi I’m due on 28th October. I think I conceived around 5th feb too, only dtd 1st and 3rd. I got my bfp on 15th feb. So I would say your dates sound fine in that sense, but you may have conceived a day or two later if you only dtd on 8th. But there is an allowance for things like that really.
With regards to growth my FL is 32.8 and AC is 154.8. So again to me yours sound reasonable.
But if you’re concerned about growth I would speak to the midwife when you next see them because they are the experts on this. Have they mentioned any concerns about growth?

Thank you for your message they did mention possible GD and advised I may need additional growth scans I'm just concerned I may be further along and conceived from either DTD on 27/28/29th Jan FTM so may be worrying for nothing considering the dates are close however can't get the nagging feeling out of my head that infect he is bigger because I conceived that many days prior. xx

Even if you did conceive at end of jan, it’s less than a week earlier than the dates you have so I wouldn’t stress over it. Babies grow at their own pace (within reason). And even if the dtd on one of those earlier dates resulted in conception, the implantation can take a few more days, which is narrowing the gap between the dates further. Also if you’re having further growth scans then they will keep a close eye on things anyway. He might just be a big baby. Mine measurements were right in the middle of the range, but there’s some leeway either side. I’d ask your midwife at your 25 week appointment though for some reassurance x

I'm nearly 35 weeks, at the very start I kept track of my last period dates and when I was mean to conceive. First scan showed I was 4.5 weeks behind!!!!! Felt like forever to catch up, baby is now measuring large. All measurements are about 2 weeks ahead but they claim I'm still the same dates. I don't believe it myself and think I'm further along but only time will tell!! I don't have GD either, so God knows. At 33 weeks he was measuring 6.9lbs!! Got another one in 2 weeks so hoping he's not a giant lol.
